This document details some test automation best practices. For many automation specialists this would be a guide for designing the automation test plan and accordingly developing the test case frame, using the test automation schema. In this document I have used some references to Mercury Interactive and Compuware's tools. I have also given simple illustrations for a quick start approach for developing and deploying regression test suites.
